Internships
Every DHRUVA student has to take up an Internship / Research project at a Business organization working on a real time scenario. Summer Internship Projects constitute an integral part of the PGDM curriculum. Most projects involve collecting and interpreting data on customers, processes, markets, or practices which can offer improvements on any functional area of the client organisation. Students will be continuously guided by the DHRUVA faculty. Projects where management is willing to share the information tend to be more successful. On completion of the project, each student will present a report on the findings for the management to act on. Client organization may depute a functional manager to oversee the student’s work.
Summer Internship Schedule: 8 weeks during May-July every year.
Under the DHRUVA-Simmons Exchange programme, select students can go to work on summer internship projects at Simmons College, Boston, USA. This exchange programme entails no cost to the students and provides them an opportunity to broaden their outlook, extend their network of friends and develop an appreciation of other cultures, apart from doing research in an international environment.
It's liaised with D'Youville College, Buffalo, NY- USA, California St University, San Bernardino -USA, Simmons College, Boston- USA, Adma University- Ethiopia, Girne America University, Canterbury- UK, The America University, Girne- Cyprus.This is your chance to make use of our students (and faculty) to resolve your company issues and additionally help the academic cause.
