CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION

a)

Describe each criteria with its respective weightages i.e. Admission Test, GD, Interview etc.

Academic background (X, XII and Graduation)”, “written test score” and “GD & Interview” score are the three major areas of evaluation with 20%, 30%, 50%, weightages respectively.

 

The “GD & Interview” score is arrived after the candidates have been graded into categories (1 to 5) based on the following parameters.

 

Personal Interview

- presence of mind

- alacrity

- general knowledge

- aptitude for management studies


The weightages of each category is as below

Category 1 - 90

Category 2 - 70

Category 3 - 60

Category 4 - 50

Category 5 - 30
