| Q1) Is PGDM equivalent to MBA ? A) Yes, it is. The University system in India offers the MBA degree and all other Autonomous
Institutions including IIMs recognized by Govt. of India offer PGDM. The course content and academic regimen of PGDM is on Par with MBA.
Q2) How are the placements with Dhruva?
A) Placement Cell is dedicated to advising students on career options and providing the latest information on summer training opportunities and employment vacancies. Being integral part of the 'company services', the placement cell in addition to individual counseling, will run seminars and group sessions covering career choice, interview skills, group discussion skills, preparing resumes and drafting job applications. Dhruva has the track record of 100% placement.
In addition to providing up-to-date career information, employment trends, salary statistics , developing job search techniques , coordinating on campus recruitment , the placement services will also maintain listing of part-time jobs and summer/vacation employment opportunities.
Q3) How is the dual elective programme helpful ?
A) Dual elective helps the graduates horizontal mobility in career opportunities .
Q4) I am an outstation student . Does the college provide Hostel facilities ?
A) The college has its own hostel in its salubrious state-of-the-art Campus.
Q5) Will the college help me in finding the Industry internship / project?
A) Yes , the college placement cell , assists students in finding organisations for their project work.
Q6) I come from a Science background . Do I have to satisfy other prerequisites for the programme ?
A) None . As long as you demonstrate requisite aptitude in the selection process , the college will be pleased to admit you into the course and also offer you necessary orientation.
Q7) How are students assessed?
A) Students are assessed continuously -internal as well as external.
->Internal includes mid term, test, quizzes, Case discussions, Assignments, Presentations, Personality Development programmes.
->External assessment is conducted at end of term examinations, Industry internship,
Project evaluation, Comprehensive viva voice.
Q8) Is there an age limit for entry into the programme?
A) No.
Q9) Do I need to stay in Hyderabad to complete the programme?
A) Yes, it is full time regular residential programme.And you have to stay on the campus

Q15) Who awards the PGDM degree?
A) Approved as Autonomous college by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Minister of HRD, Govt of India, Dhruva awards the degree.
Q16) What memberships are the graduates entitled to?
A) HMA, Rotaract Club, British Council, Economic Times Club, Society for Accident Free Environment (SAFE), Dhruva Alumni Association.
Q17) Is it possible to take time out or defer the course if necessary?
A) Yes of course, provided the course is completed within a span of 4 years.
Q18) What computer hardware do I need?
A) A Laptop.
