The practical-oriented teaching pedagogy at Dhruva, in my opinion, is a boon for all the students. Apart from the summer internship project, I had the opportunity to do various mini projects and surveys at Dhruva which really boosted my confidence. The interaction sessions with experts from the corporate world also helped me to understand the current market situations and trends. Dhruva College of Management has played a very important role in my life like the polestar Dhruva. The period of my study in Dhruva coincided with our decision to settle in Hyderabad after a long period of stay at Kolkata. The process of re-establishment posed many a problem to our family and I had to share some burden along with my infirm father while keeping abreast with my studies. It was really challenging. It was like fighting two battles at a time.
I opted for Dhruva as my first choice in MAT application, for I learnt that you are not only an educationist but also a disciplined administrator. The seminars and lectures arranged by the college were all in tune with the modern management philosophy. The lectures delivered by Prof. Unnava of Ohio State University, USA, and Mr. Sen of Virginia Slims on Marketing / Advertising strategies were some of the finest I ever attended.
